Dr David PalingConsultant NeurologistDr David Paling is a consultant neurologist with practices at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Coriel clinicHe trained at The University of Manchester, The University of Sydney, and University College London where he also completed a PhD in multiple sclerosis research. He was appointed consultant neurologist at the Royal Hallamshire hospital Sheffield and Doncaster Royal Infirmary in 2014.He is the clinical lead for the internationally renowned MS Centre Sheffield which was featured in BBC program “can you stop my MS” and awarded an NHS Parliamentary award for excellence. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sheffield and Strategic Director for the Multiple Sclerosis Academy.As well as interests in multiple sclerosis he also specialises in headache and runs a teaching course for local general practitioners on treatment.
