Sawhney is a fellowship-trained Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of bone, joint, spine, sports and soft tissue disorders.He specialises in advanced musculoskeletal imaging including MRI, ultrasound and CT, with particular expertise in the assessment of sports injuries, degenerative joint disease, tendon disorders and complex musculoskeletal conditions. He works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, rheumatologists, physiotherapists and other specialists to provide accurate diagnosis and patient-centred care.Dr. Sawhney is one of the few fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists in the region providing specialist diagnostic and image-guided musculoskeletal services. Throughout his consultant career, he has reported many thousands of specialist musculoskeletal MRI examinations and performed a high volume of image-guided musculoskeletal procedures.He performs a wide range of image-guided musculoskeletal procedures including ultrasound-guided joint injections, tendon and soft tissue injections, bursal injections, aspirations, diagnostic ultrasound examinations and a variety of minimally invasive musculoskeletal interventions. His practice focuses on delivering precise image-guided treatments with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy and clinical outcomes.He is a member of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology and the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and maintains active involvement in continuing professional development, musculoskeletal education and subspecialty radiology practice.In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Sawhney has contributed to academic radiology through research publications, educational activities and multidisciplinary collaboration.
