Foot and Ankle Specialist

Mr Antony Wilkinson DPodM MSc FRCPodS FFPM RCPS (Glasg) is one of the UK’s most experienced and respected Consultant Podiatric Surgeons, with more than 30 years’ experience in foot and ankle care.

He graduated from the Northern College of Podiatry in 1990 and quickly developed a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery. After passing his membership examinations in 1994, he secured a surgical training post in South Derbyshire and went on to gain his Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery in 1997.

Following further specialist training as a Specialist Registrar, Antony was appointed Consultant Podiatric Surgeon in 2002. He is currently Consultant and Clinical Head of Podiatric Surgery at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, alongside providing both NHS and private care within the independent sector.

Antony has held numerous senior leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery, Medical Advisory Committee Chair at Ramsay Park Hill Hospital and is Chair of Clinical Governance. Awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in recognition of his outstanding contribution, he has performed over 15,000 surgical procedures and remains committed to evidence-based, audited clinical excellence — ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. He sees patients at The Coriel Clinic and Park Hill Hospital.
