Mr Dan Morell MBChB BSc (hons) PGCME PGDME FRCS (Tr&Orth) Dip Surg Hand is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery. He graduated from the University of Leeds in 2005 and began his surgical training in hospitals across West Yorkshire before joining the South Yorkshire Orthopaedic rotation in 2011. He completed his FRCS in 2015.

Developing a strong passion for hand surgery, Mr Morell undertook the prestigious Advanced Training Fellowship at the internationally renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby. He further enhanced his expertise in microsurgery through specialist training at the Ganga Microsurgical Unit in India. In 2018, he was appointed Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.

Mr Morell is committed to delivering excellent, evidence-based care and continually advancing surgical practice. He aims to perform many procedures under local anaesthetic where appropriate, supporting faster recovery and improved patient experience. All procedures are carried out as day cases, with a strong focus on attention to detail from initial consultation through to recovery. He sees patients at The Coriel Clinic and Park Hill Hospital.
