Mr Jan A Macierewicz FRCS Eng, is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He has extensive experience in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He graduated from Medical University in Poznan, Poland in 1989. His entire surgical training was completed in UK . He also took a Felowship in Calgary, Canada. He specialised in General and Vascular/Endovascular Surgery in 2006.

Mr Mac (as he is called) offers comprehensive assessment, consultation and treatment for venous disease under local anaesthesia. This includes ultrasound/Duplex examination, varicose veins therapy including traditional surgical removal of varicosities as well as foam injection sclerotherapy. This is caried out alongside Radiofrequency Thermal Ablation of Truncal Superficial Veins.
