Mr. Nitish Gogi FRCS (Tr&Orth) MCh Orth (Liverpool) MRCS MS (Orth) is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 30 years of practice in Trauma & Orthopaedics. He is affiliated with Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he specialises in Foot & Ankle Surgery and Paediatric Orthopaedics — helping patients of all ages get back on their feet and moving comfortably again.

Mr. Gogi’s surgical journey began in India, where he completed his medical degree and postgraduate orthopaedic qualifications. He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he undertook higher surgical training and further refined his expertise through multiple specialist fellowships across the UK, gaining an exceptional breadth of training that few surgeons can match.

With three decades of hands-on surgical experience behind him, Mr. Gogi is well versed in treating the full range of common foot and ankle conditions. These include bunions (hallux valgus), hammertoes, ankle instability, Achilles tendon disorders, plantar fasciitis, flat foot deformity, and ankle arthritis. He takes the time to clearly explain each condition in plain language, so patients always understand what is happening and why.

Mr. Gogi firmly believes that surgery is not always the answer. He offers a full range of treatment options — from conservative measures such as physiotherapy, orthotics, and injections, through to surgical intervention where needed — always choosing the approach best suited to the individual patient’s lifestyle, needs, and goals.
