Mr Paul Haslam MBChB FRCSEd (Tr&Orth) is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery. He completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Sheffield and undertook advanced fellowship training in knee surgery in New Zealand and Australia, including a fellowship with Leo Pinczewski, a world-renowned expert in arthroscopic cruciate ligament surgery and knee injuries.

Mr Haslam was appointed as a Consultant Knee Surgeon at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals in 2006 and now brings over 17 years’ consultant experience to his practice. He has performed more than 600 anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions and over 1,000 knee replacements, including a significant number of partial knee replacements. His expertise also includes complex ligament reconstructions, osteotomies around the knee, patella stabilisation surgery and innovative arthroscopic treatment of Baker’s cysts.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Haslam is passionate about training and education, having developed enhanced recovery and day-case ACL services within the NHS. He remains actively involved in teaching, research and continuous professional development, and sees patients at The Coriel Clinic, Thornbury Hospital and Park Hill Hospital.
