Foot & Ankle Specialist

Mr Tommy Chan BSc (Hons) MSc FRCPodS is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon specialising in the surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. He qualified in 2009 and went on to complete a Master of Science in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery at the University of Huddersfield. His specialist surgical training began in 2014 at the highly regarded Department of Podiatric Surgery at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he developed broad expertise across foot and ankle surgery.

Following completion of his training, Mr Chan was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Podiatry, Faculty of Podiatric Surgery, and achieved his Certificate of Completion of Podiatric Surgical Training in 2021. His training has taken him across Europe and Asia, with particular interests in minimally invasive foot surgery, high-risk limb salvage and the advanced use of ultrasound.

Committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, Mr Chan holds several leadership and educational roles, including Regional Chair of the Northern Deanery for the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Huddersfield, a registered surgical tutor and a national examiner. He sees patients at The Coriel Clinic, Woodthorpe Hospital and Ilkeston Community Hospital.
