Mr. Zain ul Abiddin

Foot and Ankle Specialist

Mr Zain Abiddin MBBS MS (Orth) FRCS MCh (Orth) FRCS (Tr&Orth) is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery.

He graduated in Medicine with honours from the University of Nagpur, India in 1989, receiving the Best Student Award, before completing postgraduate training in Orthopaedics and achieving a prestigious master’s degree in the specialty.

After moving to the UK, Mr Abiddin undertook higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedics within the Mersey Deanery and was awarded an MCh from the University of Liverpool. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003 and completed specialist foot and ankle training at Wrightington Hospital, alongside a visiting fellowship in Maryland, USA.

In 2010, Mr Abiddin was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he established and leads the Foot and Ankle service.

With over 30 years’ experience and thousands of procedures performed, he is recognised for his expertise across a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. He is committed to safe, evidence-based care, medical education and ongoing research, and sees patients at The Coriel Clinic and Park Hill Hospital.
